My current keyboard is big with bunch of additional macro keys, dedicated media keys and non detachable wrist rest. I had a wish to try small mechanical keyboard just to feel the difference.

CM Storm, which is a gaming division of world-known company Cooler Master, offers probably the widest range of mechanical keyboards. We already reviewed one of them - CM Storm Trigger.

I planned to ask from CM Storm the keyboard Quick Fire Rapid for review, but received a new and improved model QuickFire TK which has backlight, integrated Num Pad with navigation and command keys, NKRO in USB mode, etc.. As you see, differences are huge.

Let’s start from the official commercial movie:

Is it really so great? Well, time to test it out.

In mini reviews articles we are reviewing devices and gadgets which are not related to professional gaming directly, but same time could have interest for all computer enthusiasts and geeks.

For making reviews of headsets more stylish and informative, I decided to obtain headset stand.

I contacted with one of the leader in this niche CA Electronics and after short conversation got positive reply from them.

To be honest, I didn’t plan to write any article related to it, but after almost one month of usage I understood that I definitely should do it.

Read mini review for understanding why I came to this conclusion.

In mini reviews articles we are reviewing devices and gadgets which are not related to professional gaming directly, but same time could have interest for all computer enthusiasts and geeks.

In our very first mini article, we will review cooler pad Notepal ERGO 360 from Cooler Master.

Cooler pads could be used in various ways. For sure the main purposes is “calming down” your hot possibly gaming laptop, but besides this you can use it in case of working with laptop on laps, or making more comfortable viewing angle. Also, with cooler pad you can reduce the noise of laptop in general. When temperature of your laptop became higher, its cooler starts to spin faster and noise from such small cooler could be very annoying. Cooler pads are keeping your laptop’s temp in normal range and cooler inside the laptop keep rotating in silent mode. Due to size of fans inside cooler pad, noise from it way lower.

homestory cup 5 first detailsDay 2 of the German cup HomeStory will show 4 more groups duke it out, as group E, F, G and H will fan out this day.

As always here at GreatFrag we will try to predict the two to advance from each group, and join the already quallified players into the second group stage.

Group E, considered the "group of death", has 4 players that could very easy win the whole event, as South KoreaProtoss MC, the recent winner from the group of death in Code S, where he defeated South KoreaProtoss squirtle, South KoreaTerran MarineKingPrime and South KoreaZerg TSL.Symbol, even though he was the 4'th in the group in everybody's eyes is in this group, the strong German Protoss, an old member of team Mousesports, GermanyProtoss HasuOBS the recently moved to South Korea, a master of two races, as he know both Terran and Zerg, fan favorite GermanyZerg TLO and the polish rock PolandTerran Tarson also are in the group.

By looking at the names, and by searching their achievements, you can see why I say this is the group of death. Now for me top 1 is South KoreaProtoss MC, i think the "boss toss" has the first chance in this group, for the second place i will have to chose between TLO and  HasuOBS, and just because TLO is living in Korea at this moment I will have to pick my card on him.

Group F, an interesting group nontheless, with 3 Zergs in it and one Protoss, PolandProtoss MaNa, the only Protoss in this group will make it as first, because at the moment he is on an impressive winstreak, after the win at Sweden Dreamhack Summer 2012, second to make it out of the group will be the Korean South KoreaZerg Sleep.

Group G, features one of the players that impressed lately, South KoreaProtoss YoungHwa, whom will make it as first in the group and 3 other rather balanced players, and because they are almost even, I will go with fan favorite USAZerg Sheth, over RussiaZerg Slivko and GermanyTerran DBS.

Group H, well this group has the player that everybody expects to win it all, South KoreaTerran MVP, it's hard to belive that he will not make it out of this group, the second player to advance is kind of hard to predict, South KoreaZerg Golden, RomaniaProtoss NightEnd and even Protoss monchi can make it, since Golden is Korean and NightEnd lived and practiced in Korea for like 3 months, I will say they start with the first chance to advance along side MVP, if I would have to pick, I say that NightEnd can defeat Golden as he has good PvZ and will advance as second in the group.

What are your pedictions, the groups can be seen here

Recently the German based organization ROCCAT has released its new product - the optical mouse Savu. It only looked natural that we here at GreatFrag had to test this new product. After already reviewing one keyboard and one headset it was time to also review ROCCAT Savu. A well thought product with a great balance regarding the weight and shape, with nice finishing touches and a rather solid build.

red bull battlegroundsOk so in less than one week another big tournament related to Starcraft 2 is about to hit us. We here at GreatFrag will look to show our point of view related to the outcome of this event. In this article i will try to point our how the group stage will fan out.

What you are about to read is entire my oppinion so if you have different opinions please do leave them in the comments bellow.

First of all let me remind you the groups:

Group A Group B Group C Group D
South KoreaTerran Ganzi USAZerg Sheth South KoreaTerran Bomber NetherlandsZerg Ret
FranceZerg Stephano South KoreaTerran Taeja CanadaProtoss HUK South KoreaProtoss Parting
USATerran Illusion SwedenTerran ThorzaiN CanadaZerg Ostojyi South KoreaProtoss Squirtle
South KoreaZerg viOlet SwedenProtoss SaSe South KoreaProtoss MC USATerran lastShadow

Now let's get to the real thing. Taking Group A in consideration we see 3 contenders to advance from this group as FranceZerg Stephano is the best foreigner, the 'foreign hope', and also a master of ZvZ, and an awesome ZvT, that if he ain't playing against South KoreaTerran Polt. Just because I want to believe that Stephano can win the whole event I will say he will advance from first position in Group A.

Now the tricky part only comes now, as both South KoreaTerran Ganzi and South KoreaZerg viOlet are pretty much even in terms of skill and tactics, but since viOlet comes after a recent win at the USA MLG Spring Arena#2, I will have to play my last card for this group on the korean zerg.

Moving on to Group B, well now this is a hard one, I mean USAZerg Sheth, the best american zerg at the moment (yeah, he will woop USAZerg IdraA's ass even while sleeping), South KoreaTerran Taeja, solid player, heavy on the macro, has the potential to advance. SwedenTerran ThorzaiN, new addition to USA Team EG, the winner of Sweden DreamHack Eizo Open, however lately, after that DreamHack win, he kind of slacked a bit,  being eliminated early from MLG Spring Arena#2 by GermanyProtoss Socke.

Last but not least the swedish player SwedenProtoss Sase, that by now can be called korean since he lives for about two years in Korea by now. Even if it's hard for me to pick a certain player, I would say that first place will go to Taeja, just because he is korean, followed by SaSe, or vice-versa.

Group C, another hard group with practically three koreans, as CanadaProtoss Huk lives in Korea at the moment, than we have South KoreaProtoss MC, last time, at the MLG Spring Arena he managed a respectable 4'th place, only chocking against Stephano, however with MC it's tricky as he today may slay each and everyone and the next day losing to anyone. Third player to take in consideration is South KoreaTerran Bomber, and as MC he is same material, one day he is imba, next day he is losing by miles.

For this group I will have to say that MC and Huk will advance, not sure the order, as it will be decided by a PvP and PvP are anything but predictable.

Last group, Group D, well I only see two favorites and those are the two korean players, yeas you may say i root for the protosses, but the fact is last time I saw the 'king of drones' play against a protoss, that P being NetherlandsProtoss Grubby, well let's just say 'he did not impress me much' as the song would say, and let's just face it Grubby ain't South KoreaProtoss Squirtle nor South KoreaProtoss Parting

Now even if this group also features a PvP between the two players i presume will advance, this time I will have to pick Squirtle as the winner, as he has shown in his South Korea Code S games that he has imba tactics against all races.

Ok so these are my predictions for this $41,000 prize purse tournament, in the end my heart would like to see Stephano take the first place, but my head will not listen to my heart and so I will have to pick viOlet or Squirtle as the winner. What are your predictions.{linkr:related;keywords:starcraft2;limit:5;title:More+News}

World-known PC hardware manufacturer Cooler Master, which is popular among professional players by their gaming division CM Storm, brought to us for review their new high-end CPU cooler TPC 812.

You may wonder how CPU coolers correlate with gaming website, well, modern gaming PCs have powerful CPU with specific requirements to its cooler and silence is not on last place during the long gaming battles as well.

Just few years ago these type of coolers where oriented for overclockers only. But nowadays, with modern CPUs and motherboards, you can significantly increase power of your CPU even from Windows itself. When your processor will not satisfy you with its speed anymore, instead of buying new one you should think about increasing CPU’s frequency. Certainly, you strictly need to follow the safety rules and carefully read relevant section in manual of your motherboard.

Regardless that modern CPU can be easily overclocked, stock coolers which are coming with CPU itself are oriented to work with default CPU’s frequency only. Using such coolers with overclocked CPU will cause overheating and damage to your CPU.

Another reason to use these CPU coolers is the silen??. I have changed the stock cooler just to have silent PC. It’s really hard to sit all day in front of PC with annoying noise from cooler. Cooler Master TPC 812 is unique cooler, because it’s a first cooler with vertical vapor chamber technology. All details about this technology and cooler itself, you’ll find inside the review.
