kalleGreatFrag took a little chat with the Sweden ESC-Gaming star Norway Karl William 'kalle' Haraldsen. The mix of Swedish and Norwegians players raced through BYOC, defeating teams like Ukraine DTS and Brazil SemXorah. ESC have been drawn in Group A, taking on Ukraine NaVi, Denmark mTw, Netherlands Kaos, France Millenium and Sweden Lions. ESC-Gaming were almost flawless in the group stage, but came up short against the Danish powerhouse mTw [16:10].

First, on behalf of Greatfrag I want to congratulate a very fine semi-final place during DreamHack MSI Championship. You met mTw in the semi-finals and came up short 2:1 in map. How does it feel just running through BYOC and place 4th at one of the biggest LANs in the world?

It feels great, but it’s sad that we did make it to the final but we are proud of the 4th place.

Are you satisfied with the team's efforts during the DreamHack Summer MSI Championship?

Yeah I am, but the sad thing was that barrbar lost his voice after 1st group stage so we were only 4 people that could talk :/

You beat NaVi 16:9 on de_nuke, some said it was luck, and some said nuke could go both ways depending on a good day. What are your thoughts?

We thougt that we could beat them so, and it was de_nuke that is not their strongest map and it wasnt our strongest so it could go both ways.

What were your goals for this tournament?

Our goal is always to be #1, but we where hoping to reach the semifinals.

What are ESC-Gaming plans in the future, and when will we see ESC in action again?

We will try to attend everything that we can and practice hard, and our next event will be GameGune and Intel Challenge Super Cup 8.

Last words are yours.

Thanks for all the support we got out there. Many thanks to ESC, who is supporting my team with help from ICY BOX, ESET, Esportscenter and SENNHEISER.

Hello! Please introduce yourself to our visitors.

Hi. My name is Feroz Riaz, ang I go by the nick name QDom.GunmaN. I am 24 years old and I am a competitive Starcraft-2 player playing for Queclub’s, team UAE Dominium. I use the Zerg race and I have so far won all the Starcraft-2 tournaments that have been held in U.A.E. :)

Could you tell us how you came to esports?

Yeah sure, I used to play Counter-Strike with friends back in beta 7.xx days. There were no teams back then, and I remember we used to play with MS ball mice. I started playing seriously after being motivated by “The One and Only” Sweden Heatons’ frag video. I could never truly shine because the scene was neither mature in terms of competitiveness nor did I enjoy the team aspect. Later on I moved to 1 vs. 1 games like Warcraft 3, Quake, Broodwar and finally ended here.
