I have reviewed a pretty big number of mechanical keyboards and a big surprise for me that none of them have dedicated media keys. I know that all desired keys and shortcuts could be assigned to macro-keys or could be used via FN-keys, but come on, it’s very complicated to press several keys just for “pause” or “play next track” during the gaming or streaming sessions. It’s clear if we are talking about compact gaming keyboards, but why is that difficult to add dedicated media keys to the full size keyboard?

I started researching and found only a few mechanical keyboards with dedicated media-keys, and one of them is MEKA G-Unit Illuminated from Tt eSPORTS. I was fortunate enough that the gaming division of Thermaltake have agreed to provide me one for review.

For more than two years Sennheiser PC 360D is my main headset. I’m using it for usual routine work and for casting purposes. It’s extremely comfortable and it has the best sound among other headsets which I have used and reviewed.

Recently, Sennheiser offered me to review the updated version of PC 360 which comes under Sennheiser PC 363D tag. At first glance it looks that the changes are very tiny, but what happens after a detailed review? Check it out!

computer-upgradeIt’s time to upgrade my streaming machine. I can’t say that it’s slow like a turtle or whatsoever, but current graphic card which is GTX 275 is 4 years old and it’s the bottleneck of entire PC.

Just for information, the remaining configuration details are: chipset P67, i7-2600k, 8GB DDR-3, SSD Intel X-25MG2 160GB, HDD WD Black 1TB, chassis Cooler Master HAF X. As you can see, remaining components are fine and there is no reason to change entire PC at this moment.

I have decided to change the graphic card and power supply respectively, because more powerful card needs more powerful PSU.

Additionally, I will try to overclock my current CPU and for making sure that it will not be overheated, I’ll add CPU water cooler to gear.

And last component of upgrade is additional 8Gb memory. Just for making article more impressive.

In the first part of the article I’ll overview selected 4 components and unbox them. Further, maybe in next two parts, I’ll try to install them and share with impressions after all.

15 years ago, when I was living in Tajikistan, Central Asia, all gamers tried to obtain the Func mouse pads. I and friends had been asking our friends and relatives to bring that legendary pads from Russia, because all owners of the Func automatically transformed from gamers to “professional gamers”.

Couple months ago, by reading IT News I found that Func still exists, doing well and moreover, they are producing mices also.

I contacted them in terms of review and got a positive reply. Today in our article we will review the mouse pad Func Surface 1030XL and mouse Func MS-3. And yes, finally I’ll be a professional gamer, at least for the test period.

I have reviewed Sennheiser PC 360 in 2012 and I liked it a lot. Moreover, it has become my main headset lately.

I received an option from Sennheiser Middle East to review another model in gaming line of Sennheiser which is PC 323D. It is at a lower price, has a USB 7.1 Soundcard and many features of PC 360.

Could this headset be the compromise for those who find PC 360 too expensive? Well, in this review I’ll try to answer to this question and will compare PC 323D with PC 360 eventually.
