With the event three days from now, the guys behind Germany Intel Extreme Masters have released the Bracket for the next Germany IEM stop, Poland IEM Season 9 Katowice 2015.

The event will run from 12'th of March 2015 till 15'th of March 2015 and will feature a total of $117.707 for the Starcraft 2 event.

  • The change of the leadership regarding Sweden DreamHack and the announcement that some of the DreamHack stops in 2015 to not feature Starcraft 2 came through.

    The next stop in the DreamHack 2015, Romania DreamHack Open Bucharest will not feature Starcraft 2 most likely. 

    At the moment there is no news, no Starcraft 2 page, no clue to hint for a Starcraft 2 event at the specific DreamHack stop.

    At the same time a press release from the guys behind DreamHack regarding DreamHack Open Bucharest states:

    "Dremhack Bucharest 2015 will include the most popular games of the moment: Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), DOTA 2, League of Leagends, HearthStone, Minecraft and console games."

    Remind you that the event will run from 24'th of April 2015 till 26'th of April 2015.

    The stream details for the upcomming Poland Intel Extreme Masters Katowice Starcraft 2 have been made public.

    For an event this big, the organizers have called some of the best casters, hosts and analysts on the market.

    The casting line-up features the likes of United KingdomTerranProtossZerg Shaun 'Apollo' Clark, United KingdomTerranProtossZerg James 'Kaelaris' Charoll, Terran Leigh 'Maynarde' Mandalov and FranceProtoss Yoan 'ToD' Merlo.

    The host for the show will be non other than Paul 'Redeye' Chaloner.

    The analysts for the event are: USATerranProtossZerg Dan 'Frodan' Chou, USAProtoss Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson, NetherlandsProtoss Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi, NorwayZerg Jens 'Snute' Aasgaard.

    The observing part will be done by FranceTerran Alexandre 'FunKa' Verier, this will probably be one of his last events as an observer.

    In order to make it like home for the koreans that are in the European UnionCanadaUSA WCS region, the translator will be South Korea Susie 'LilSusie' Kim.

    The european team that was formed just few months ago, European Union MeePwn'd lost it's DotA 2 line-up.

    The team had a rough start changing Sweden Steve 'Excalibur' Ye with Germany Metehan 'Exist' Aksut shortly after starting the team.

    After losing Sweden Johan 'pielide' Astrom last month, the remaining four players left the team aswell.

    The main reason behind this move is the fact that the team disbanded.

    At the time of disbandment, European Union MeePwn'd had:

  • The american based organization, USA compLexity Gaming lost yet another player from their DotA 2 team.

    This new player that left is Sweden Linus 'Limmp' Blomdin, the reason behind this move is the fact that the player decided to join a homecountry team in the name of Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas.

    In Sweden NiP, he will replace Sweden Joel 'Apemother' Larsson whom left the team for an unknown reason. 

    Next move of the player is yet to be revealed.

    Manager of Sweden NiP stated:

    ”First and foremost I would like to thank Joel so much for the positive and professional spirit in which he has contributed to the team.

    Apemother has not only been our mid player, but moreover one of the five players that came so far in such a short amount of time.

    You can go very far, you are a star, and I wish you all the best for the future. You can be anything.”

  • The former players that played under the USA Team FIRE flag have found a new home.

    This new team is another american based team, USA Champions of Summer's Rift.

    Three of the former Team FIRE mambers have decided to move to this new team, at the moment they are the active line-up of the team.

    These players are USA Braxton 'Brax' Paulson, USA Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho and France Sebastien '7ckngMad' Debs.

    To make it for a full line-up the newly formed team has four stand-ins to chose from, these stand-ins are former USA ROOT Gaming USA BananaSlamJamma and Canada miraclechipmunk.

    Two other stand-ins are former USA Team Dignitas and Quantic player Canada Theeban '1437' Siva and European Union Team Secret player Canada Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev whom is uncertain if he will join this team or will remain in his current team.

  • A new european DotA 2 team surfaced the eSports scene in the DotA 2 domain.

    This new DotA 2 team will feature some of the best player the "old continent" has to offer.

    The team will feature players that used to play for teams such as USA Evil Geniuses, Germany Mousesports, United Kingdom Team DignitasSweden The Alliance, USA Cloud9European Union Team Tinker.

    To complete the line-up we will have a lesser known player  Selim 'Neqroman' Oynar.

  • Few weeks ago, the american based team, USA Team FIRE announced that they will make changes in their DotA 2 line-up.

    Few days after, they have released to the public information about the new DotA 2 line-up.

    One player from the former line-up remained in the team, namely USA Brian 'FLUFFANDSTUFF' Lee.

    To make it for a rather complete line-up, the managers of the team called former FIRE player, USA Michael 'ixmike88' Ghannam and USA Bryant 'whiteBeard' Lehwald.

    To make it for a temporary four men line-up, the last player is the canadian player Canada DragonFist.

    The Ro16 groups for the First Season in European UnionUSACanada WCS 2015 have been found.

    The last player that made it so far were divided into four groups of four players, with the Top 2 from each group advancing on.
