The chinese based tournament, China SOC 2013-2014 has ended featuring a PvP final game.

ChinaProtossJim took on fellow team-mate ChinaProtoss MacSed in the grand final. The final score saw a rather easy win for Jim as he took the final with a [4-2] scoreline.

In the third place decider, ChinaZerg TooDming took down ChinaZerg XiGua with an easy [3-0] win.

    The final game saw a ZvT, featuring South KoreaZerg Life and South KoreaTerran Maru, the zerg came on top with a close call scoreline of [4-3].

    Life started well the final game taking first map, but than Maru took 3 games in a row, only to be returned by Life with another 3 games in a row.

  • The coalition between the two teams of South Korea StarTale and Taiwan yoe Flash Wolves had to forfeit it's first round in the South Korea ProLeague Playoffs.

    The reason is a serious one, the car that the teams were taking to the ProLeague playing scene had an accident in front of it on the tunnel they were supposed to take to the center.

    The announcement was made by USA Waxangel on his official socialization page:

    "Apparently there was an accident in the tunnel Startale-Yoe was taking. Car basically trapped."

    This means that South Korea Jin Air Green Wings had a [Walktrough] on the game and will have to face South Korea CJ Entus for the grand final agains South Korea SK TelekomT1.

    After losing Canada Tyler 'TC' Cook just one week ago, the american based DotA 2 team, USA Team FIRE announced more changes in the roster.

    Today the team have lost two more players in the name of USA Michael 'ixmike88' Gannham and USA Ioannis 'Fogged' Loucas.

    The announcement was made by one of the teams player, USA Brian 'FLUFFANDSTUFF' Lee on his official socialization page where he stated:

    To complete the line-up, the managers have called former USA Denial eSports captain and player France Sebastien '7ckngMad' Debs, and two "free agents" in the names of Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho former EG player and USA Braxton 'Brax' Paulson former European UnionUSA LGD.int player.

  • After European Union Acer lost PolandZerg ParanOid at the end of last year, today the strongest female player in the Starcraft 2 scene, Acer player CanadaZerg Scarlett has announced she plans on taking a brake from the pro scene for the time being.

    It seems that the player seeks to find a future for her when the time comes that she will retire.

    The player stated:

    "I plan to go to college next.

    Maybe study Korean or computer science. I think e-sports players should think about higher education before they get too old. We don't know how popular this will be in the future. If you focus 100% on e-sports till you are 35 or so and it doesn't continue to become mainstream, I think it could be harder in life later on."

    She hinted for a possible return at the end of February.

    "Team Extreme Supremacy is happy to announce that fraer, a well known Protoss player, has joined their main team.

    A leading team in both Italy and Europe, Team Extreme Supremacy welcomes this excellent addition to their roster, and hopes it will bring great profit to both them and the player."

    This new team from the USA United States is a rather unknown team, called USA Immortals eSports.

    No official announcement was made as of yet, but the player is featured on the liquipedia page of the team so he definitely is in the roster.

  • The german based organization, one of the biggest in European Union Europe, Germany Mousesports has announced the departure of three of their players.

    The players that left are Zerg Starbuck, NetherlandsProtoss Sjaak, and SpainProtoss Majestic.

    First, Sjaak left the team because he decided to join his former team, in the name of the dutch team, Netherlands ECVisualize.

    Then Starbuck announced his departure via his official socialization page, where he hinted to a posible switch to Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, he stated:

    "I'm parting ways with mousesports. Was good while it lasted , currently not sure about the next step, but CS:GO passion is real."

    Last, the spanish player, Majestic announced his departure with the team without a reason given to the general public.
