The first details of the event that will run under the flag of the 
Intel Extreme Masters in the Starcraft 2 scene from 12'th of March 2015 till 15'th of March 2015 were made public.
The 
IEM Season 9 Katowice has had it's first details released to the public.
Eight players are already on the list as the winners and runner-ups of the previous stops, these players are 
TaeJa, 
Solar, 
Zest, Flash, herO, Rain, Maru and Life.
These eight players will be joined by eight other players from the three qualifiers:
Prize purse is set at the $117.707 in cash prize with all players taking a share of the money.
