The event is due to take place in less than three days, and with this short notice, it was announced that the korean terran player from  Millenium will have to skip the event.

The reasons behind this move is the fact that, the player has to visit the immigration office at the time the event is taking place, due to the fact that his organization seeks to get a one year visa for him, to stay and work in France.

The place of the player will be taken by  Revival, this situation is because  Grubby and  Nerchio whom were the next in line after  ForGG did not agree on a non paied slot for the event, while Revival did.

With these moves, the players poll at  IEM New York looks as follow:  HerO,  sOs,  NaNiwa,  State,  HuK,  Zest,  Revival,  Curious,  TLO,  Flash,  qxc,  Polt with yet four players to join them via an on site qualifier.

remind you that the event will start on 10'th of October and will last for three days, with a total of $25,000 in cash prize and a total of 3,600 in WCS Points.

Organizers of  QuakeCon 2013 have shared first details about upcoming event. 

Totally we will see 3 tournaments. Two of them in Quake Live gaming discipline: Classic Duel and Clan Arena. Besides this we will see tournament in... DOOM 2! Yes, all veterans of legendary games now rubbing their hands. DOOM 2 was released 20 years ago and ID Software decided to celebrate the anniversary in this way.

Prize purse and rules are not revealed yet. Per logic prize fund should not be less than $30,000 as in  QuakeCon 2012. Remind you that one year ago  Cypher won the champion's title and event was held in FFA and CTF mods.

QuakeCon 2013 will be organized on 1-4 August in Dallas Hilton Anatole, Dallas, USA.

Organizers behind biggest LAN party and one of the oldest esports event  QuakeCon have revealed first details about QuakeCon 2013. 

As on 2012, event will be held in Dallas Hilton Anatole on 1-4 August, 2013. Prize purse is not announced yet, but remind you that in 2012 it was equal to $30,000 and  Cypher as champion of QuakeCon 2012 took $9,000 of it.

Sensational news for entire Quake Live community and Cooller's fans!

 Anton 'Cooller' Singov officially came back to professional scene and will represent team  deliberate murder . He made the statement during the Russian event  Quake LAN #17. Per his words he will focus on LAN events only and currently will skip all online tournaments.

Remind you that he left proscene of Quake Live in September 2012. You can find more details about his retirement here. During the period of inactivity he got married.

Thanks to  DreamHack Winter organizers for keeping Quake Live alive! This event one more time confirmed that Quake Live maybe the most interesting FPS Duel game.

In the semifinal  rapha easily won over the  av3k and started to get preparation for playing against  Cypher who played in other semifinal against  Evil. But sensation came right from there! Russian talent won over the main favorite [3:2]. Moreover, Evil made a hit one more time by beating rapha as well [3:2].

Final standings and prize distribution:

1.  Evil - ~$4,400
2.  rapha - ~$2,900
3.  Cypher,  av3k - ~1470$ each.

Organizers behind  DreamHack Winter have revealed the groups for Quake Live event. 

During the Quake Live tournament at DH Winter we will see all top QL players of the world which will fight for $10,000 prize purse.

Event will be held 22-24 of November in Jonkoping, Sweden.

Today we got first information about upcoming DreamHack Winter in Quake Live gaming discipline. 

In event will take part 16 players and organizers already announced the owners of first 5 invites:  Evil,  pavel,  matr0x,  fire_bot and  Spart1e.

The event will start from group stage and comlete with Single Elimination in Playoff. Prize purse more than €8,000.

Quake Live still alive! Big QL event  Adroits LAN Quake LIVE just completed. The event took held on 19-21 of October in Netherlands.

Viewers saw epic battles in Team Deatch Match and classic Duel gaming disciplines.

Final standings and prize distribution of Adroits LAN TDM: 

1.  Sweden -  €2,500 + hardware from Steelseries
2.  Czech Republic - €1,400 + hardware from Steelseries
3.  Russia - €750 + Steelseries mousepads
4.  Netherlands - €370 + Steelseries mousepads 

Without  Rapha and  Cooller, everyone expected "easy money" for  Cypher and actually he won the event, but in couple matches he was one step from death.
